FormAds Meets Marketing Trend
Consumers are exiting affiliate sites instead of clicking their sponsor links...
Companies are losing valuable traffic to their competitors...
An increasing trend amongst consumer internet users, is the growing percentage who want prompt, direct access to the source provider of the product or service they seek.
Additionally, search engines are struggling to garner larger shares of advertising dollars. Companies are not only having to outbid each other for search engine keyword placement, but are also having to up their payout rates to affiliates to keep them from promoting their competitors.
But these increased ad expenses may not benefit the companies nor the affiliates, as more and more consumers shy away from advertisement links.
Certainly, affiliates would rather host a customer acquisition form than an advertising banner or text link. Hence, those companies that allow affiliates to host all; or part, of their customer acquisition forms, will be the ones to benefit most.
So what is the solution for companies to maximize their ad dollars, compete with search engines, encourage affiliates to promote them over their competitors, and to gain the customers who would otherwise exit an affiliate's web site instead of clicking-through on their ad link?
Pulsar Marketing responds:
David Hurlbert, Business Manager of Pulsar Marketing said: "We've noticed a growing audience of consumers who; either due to distrust or impatience, are exiting out of affiliate web sites instead of clicking-through on advertisements. To reach that demographic, we have developed a new marketing strategy that allows our clients to obtain customers directly and instantly via affiliate web sites."
According to Theresa Murphy, Support Services for Pulsar Marketing, this new ad technology benefits advertisers as well as affiliates.
Theresa explains: "By giving these consumers immediate access to the product or service they desire, we eliminate an unnecessary click-through. Our clients receive the customer data they desire, and affiliates enjoy the benefit; as well as the pride, of hosting our clients' customer forms on their sites."
When asked how Pulsar Marketing's clients responded to this new innovation, David stated: "We certainly understand their reluctance to release their customer acquisition form code to affiliates. But, those affiliates who generate the most activity already know how to obtain any company's customer form code, as well as how to frame the application page onto their sites. Our new technology offers a better solution, and gives our clients greater control while helping them acquire customers who otherwise would have exited the affiliate web site."
With Pulsar Marketing's new FormAds network, companies can deliver their customer acquisition form code in a manner that lets site visitors know that the form is being hosted, and that the affiliate is not a direct representative of the company. With FormAds, clients can place a border around their form, and include disclaimers such as 'Although the web site hosting this form is not a direct representative of COMPANY NAME, you can safely submit the form below to obtain the PRODUCT/SERVICE.'
Additionally, clients can include javascript links for their Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Policy popup pages.
Most importantly, FormAds is not a co-registration network. The Post Action remains the Post Action of each client, which means affiliates do not receive copies of customer data. And after customers submit the form hosted on affiliate sites, they are delivered to the respective client's 'Thank You' page, or to any additional form(s) hosted on the client's web site.
The fee for using FormAds is CPA based, per valid lead or sale. There is no charge for duplicate nor invalid leads.
David added: "We feel that; inevitably, FormAds will acquire a large client base as search engines reduce the effectiveness of third party affiliate links to garner a larger share of online advertising dollars."
FormAds does not require its clients to allow affiliates to host their entire customer acquisition process. Instead, clients can use FormAds to acquire the initial customer data, such as name and address. Then, upon submission, customers would be re-directed to the client's web site to complete any other form field requirements.
Benefits of FormAds: *Acquire consumers who otherwise would exit affiliate sites. *Acquire affiliates who would otherwise promote a competitor. *Brand your logo, terms, conditions and privacy policy. *Retain proprietary rights to customer data via your Post Action.
